Martin Luther king wrote i had a dream speech in this picture. This picture also shows the hundreds and thousands of people that were there.they listened and they heard what martin had to say and this approximately changed life for blacks and whites there after. This changed their lives because this brought blacks and whites a little closer and more open to them. How is speech impacted those peoples lives then still impacts our lives today.


 In this picture this shows Rosa Parks taking a mugshot, as she was arrested by the police in 1955. She was arrested because she refused to move to another seat so a white man can sit down. Rosa parks didn't believe that because of her race that she should have to move seats for whites. i selected Rosa Parks because i had already knew who she was and what she has done. Not only that i am inspired because she wasn't afraid to tell a white male no even considering her situation and skin color back then.




In this picture it shows James Bevel being arrested for his voting rights movement,On April 10th 2008. He led many powerful christian movements as he was, also a pastor and civil rights activist. I chose James bevel because of the religion and faith he had helping blacks in the times he lived leading movements. He believed strongly in his movements and faced cops and racists white, showing strong character and strength. James didn't let the white men and women ruin his life and believing in what he stood for.
